Dorothy Perry

Dorothy M. Fortner Perry was born August 8, 1916 in Grant County, Kentucky and passed away January 4, 2020 in Sun City Center, Florida at the age of 103.  She was the daughter of the late Alvie and Lurah Howard Fortner.

Dorothy was a homemaker and farmer.  She also worked for Joyce Shoes in Milan, IN for several years.  Dorothy was always known to be a hard worker.  When she wasn't working she enjoyed gardening and travelling.

She is survived by 3 grandchildren: Kenneth R. Elliott of Clinton, MS, Theresa K. Steinlin of North Port, FL, and Kristy G. Crowder of Arrington, TN; a brother: Dale Fortner (Jo Ann) of Williamstownl; a sister: Beulah Willoby of Williamstown; 12 great grandchildren; and 25 great great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 2 husbands: Kenneth Elliott and William Perry; and a son: Kenneth G. Elliott.

Funeral Services will be 12:00 PM, Friday, January 10, 2020 at the Elliston Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Her visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday with burial to follow in the Williamstown Cemetery.
