Douglas Keith Sharrock

Douglas K. Sharrock was born Nov. 10, 1966 in Cincinnati, Ohio and passed away Sept. 25, 2024 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 57.  He was the son of the late Buddy Jack and Roberta Mae Sharrock (Bushae).

Douglas was a US Navy veteran serving during Desert Storm and worked for Time Warner Cable for 33 years.  He was also a Kentucky Colonel,  a member of the VFW Post 1042, and City Councilman.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Billie Jean Sharrock (Hamilton); two sons: Scott (Chrissy) Sharrock and Sean Sharrock; a daughter: Susan Sharrock; a brother: Timothy (Mary) Sharrock; three grandchildren: Saige, Ely and Braxton; mother-in-law: Emily (Tony) Hammons; father-in-law: Donald E. Hamilton; sister-in-law: Dawn (Darrin) Leigh; brother-in-law: Donald Hamilton; nieces and nephews: Mark, Stephanie, Tim, Lauren, Beth, Sarah, Jennifer, Rachel, Gary, Dylan, Marcus, Austin, and Kyle; and numerous cousins and friends.

Doug was preceded in death by two sisters, Becky Sharrock and Cathy Doran, and a niece, Nicole Van Gundy.

Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Monday, Sept. 30, 2024 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY  41097.  Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024 at Oak Hill Cemetery, 1200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, OH  45246. There will not be a procession to the cemetery, anyone wishing to attend the graveside services should arrive at the cemetery at 10:45 AM.
