Earl Morris Evans

Earl Morris Evans of Union, KY was born December 7, 1943 in Grant County, KY and died Friday, July 23, 2021 in Florence, KY at the age of 77.

He was the son of the late Willie Edward and Mary Elizabeth Collett Evans, a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army, a farmer, and a member of the Southfork Christian Church. On August 9, 1969 he was united in marriage to his wife, Anita K. Evans who preceded him in death on February 11, 2011. Earl was a volunteer firefighter for the Union Fire Protection District, a member of the Beaverlick Christian Cemetery Committee, he enjoyed a game of golf, and taking daily trips to the river with his dogs.

In addition to his wife and parents, Earl was also preceeded in death by two brothers, Donald Evans and Harry Evans.

Surviving are one son, William “Bill” (Kriston) Evans of Glencoe, one daughter, Julie M. (Scott) Gay of Union, two grandsons, Bailey and Bo Gay both of Union, one brother, Eddie Evans, and one sister, Faye (Lonnie) Williamson) of Benton, KY.

Private graveside services will be at 2:00pm, Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the Beaverlick Christian Church Cemetery.
