Edith Mae "Mickey" Jones

Edith Mae “Mickey” Jones , 87, died Thursday April 2, 2020 at her residence in Corinth, KY. Born April 14, 1932 in Independence, KY, she was the daughter of the late William Albert and Elva Mae Romans Starks.

Mickey was an administrative assistant for the University of Kentucky, where she earned an Associate Degree in Finance. She loved sewing, gardening, cooking, but especially loved spending time with family. She was also a proud Kentucky Colonel. She was a member of the Family Worship Center.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons: Clifford (Paula) Jones of Williamstown, KY, Rodney (Michelle) Jones of Erlanger, KY, Dennis (Janet) Jones of Georgetown, KY; three daughters: Sheryl (Gary) Adams of Cynthiana, KY, Debbie (Steve) Glass of Owenton, KY, Orlana “Lannie" Sparrow of Corinth, KY and one brother: Charles Franklin Starks of North Richland Hills, TX. Twenty-five grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by two sons: Orlie Jones, Jr., Wm. Kline Jones and a daughter: Kathy Burke.

Due to the restrictions mandated by Governor Beshear and the CDC because of the Coronavirus, all funeral must be private and for immediate family only.
