Edmond "Ebby" Ray Plunkett

Mr. Edmond "Ebby" Plunkett, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away at his residence on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at the age of 76.  He was the husband of the late Nancy Plunkett.

Ebby was retired after 29 years with International Permalite.  He was a former supervisor for RSGC Contractors.  He loved to play the guitar, sing, play basketball, play bingo and go to the casino.

He is survived by one son, Dennis W. (Donnette) Plunkett of Dry Ridge, KY, two daughters, Kelly R. Abney of Paris, KY, Valerie (Marvin) Wahl of Paris, KY, one brother, Robert 'Bob' (Elaine) Plunkett of Dry Ridge, KY, 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  Ebby was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Darryl Plunkett and sister LaVerne Wainscott.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 11am-1pm at the Eckler McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge, KY.  Funeral services will be at 1pm.  Rev. D. "Milkweed" Wotier will be officiating services.  Burial will follow at the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY.  Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
