Edna Ruth Wallace

Edna Ruth Sechrest Wallace was born April 15, 1933 in Williamstown, Kentucky and passed away March 7, 2021 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 87.  She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Susie B. Gordon Sechrest.

On May 14, 1955 Edna was united in marriage to Donald Glenn Wallace who preceded her in death Jan. 6, 2015.  She is survived by 2 sons: Steve Wallace of Williamstown and Greg Wallace (Melanie) of Williamstown; a daughter: Susan Weidner (Jim Woodman) of McKinney, TX; and a grandson: Matthew Wallace.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Kristen Carter; and 3 brothers: Harold Sechrest, Ray Sechrest and Clyde Sechrest.

Edna Ruth was a homemaker and a member of the Williamstown Christian Church.  One of her favorite pastimes was cooking.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery
