Edward Lynn "Eddie" West

Edward Lynn “Eddie” West of Williamstown, KY was born December 10, 1948 in Williamstown, KY and passed away Friday, July 16, 2021 in Edgewood, Ky at the age of 72.

He was the son of the late Marvin B. and Ruth Evelyn Adams West. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Korea during the Vietnam Era, he was a retired diesel mechanic for Roadway Trucking, a farmer, and a funeral directors assistant with the Stanley Funeral Homes. Eddie was a member of the Dry Ridge Baptist Church. On June 20, 1969 he was united in marriage to Diane O’Banion West.

In addition to his wife of 52 years, Diane, also surviving are 1 daughter, Carrie Lynn West of Cincinnati, his mother, Ruth Evelyn Adams West of Williamstown, 2 brothers, Marvin Gayle (Darlene) West of Williamstown and Billy Ray (Marilyn) West of Shelbyville, 1 sister, Rita Carol (Mark) Bishop of Williamstown, and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home followed by burial in the Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00pm Monday, July 19, 2021 at the funeral home.
