Eleanor Louise Baker
February 12, 1939 — November 23, 2018
In April of 1956, Eleanor was united to Raymond Howard "Buck" Baker, Jr. In addition to her husband of 62 years, she is survived by 3 sons: Howard Clayton (Diane) Baker of Verona, Arnold "Speed" (Sharon) Baker of Verona and Harvey (Rita) Baker of Independence; a daughter: Audrey (David) Finke of Verona; and 13 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was wife and mother and a former bank cashier for Eagle Bank & Forcht Bank. She was also a volunteer with Verona Life Squad and the Verona Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary where she had a great impact on everyone she came into contact with. Eleanor was kind and considerate to all. She loved the Lord and her family, who were her greatest joy.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home in Verona with Rev. Gary Carpenter conducting the service. Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery.
