Elizabeth Sebastian

April 7, 1932 — October 30, 2021

Elizabeth Sebastian, 89, of Warsaw, entered into her eternal rest on Saturday October 30, 2021 at Gallatin Nursing and Rehab Center in Warsaw. Born April 7, 1932 in Jackson, KY, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Alpha Combs McIntosh.

On October 31, 1945 she was married to Johnny Sebastian; he preceded her in death on February 2, 1982.  She was a devoted housewife and homemaker.  Feeding the birds in her backyard and shopping , along with growing flowers and trees in her yard were favorite pastimes of her, but her greatest love was for children.  She spent many years nurturing and helping to develop young children in her babysitting career.  She was a member of Wilmington Baptist Church in Demossville.

She leaves to celebrate her legacy, three daughters: Bonnie (Bobby) Davis of Union, KY, Kathy (Timothy) Hardman of Walton, KY, Brenda (Thomas) Pike of Demossville and one sister: Pearl Curtis of Warsaw, KY.  Eleven grandchildren also survive: Michael, Robert, Christi, Kim, Becky, Billy Joe, Angela, Rachel, J.T., Tommy, Casey, along with 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son: John Timothy Sebastian; a daughter: Elisa Carlene Sebastian; a great-grandson: Jacob Ammerman; five brothers: Virgil McIntosh, Daily McIntosh, Ben McIntosh, Mitchell McIntosh, Walter McIntosh, Jr. and a sister: Carmie Stewart.

Visitation will be Wednesday November 3, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon.  Funeral services will begin at 12:00 with Rev. Barry McQueary officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Wilmington Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Mike Stewart, Tom Pike, Billy Joe White, Lane White, Bobby Davis and Mike McHargue.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth's memory to: "Neediest Kids of All" (NKOA) 312 Elm St. #20 Cincinnati, OH  45202  or in care of Stanley Funeral Homes.
