Elmer Joseph Groger

Elmer Joseph Groger, 92, of Verona, KY, passed away Saturday March 18, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood.  Born Saturday March 22, 1930 in Walton, KY, he was the son of the late Gilbert Earl and Mabel Rena Easton Groger.

On Christmas Eve 1969 he was married to the former Edna Warner, she survives. He was a former partner with G.E. Groger Truck Lines in Walton, KY; he retired in 1992.  He was a member of Walton Christian Church.

Survivors, in addition to his wife of 53 years, Edna Groger, include two nieces: Carol Bullock of Loveland, OH and Barbara Keller of Walton, KY. He was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Gilbert Groger.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday March 23, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.  Officiating Minister will be Rev. Calvin Herr.
