Encil Floyd Webster of Thompson Station, TN formerly of Dry Ridge, KY was born December 30, 1939 in Covington, KY and died Saturday April 30, 2022 in Nashville, TN at the age of 82.
He was the son of the late Esmond and Velva Beach Webster. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran, a retired salesman of waste water treatment equipment and a member of the Christ Chapel in Florence, KY. On July 9, 1960 he was united in marriage to his wife, Shelda Rose Jump Webster; she preceded him in death on July 29, 2021.
Encil was active throughout his life, being involved in many community functions. He was a former Dry Ridge City Council member, Past President of the Grant County Chamber of Commerce, former owner of the Grant County Farm Supply, and spent many years as the Chief of the Dry Ridge Fire Department. He was a boat captain and enjoyed fishing and boating, but his number one priority in life was always his family.
He is survived by a son, Todd Webster of Cathedral City, CA, a daughter, Shawnna (Keith) Simpson of Franklin, TN, 3 grandchildren, Blair (Jonathon) Morris, Tate (Alex) Simpson, and Kenzie Simpson, and 3 great-grandchildren, Beckham Morris, Kaisley Simpson, and Hope Morris.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral, Williamstown followed by burial in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North. Visitation will be Wednesday, 4:00-7:00pm at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home.
