Eric Wayne Borchers

Eric Wayne Borchers of the New Columbus Community of Corinth, KY was born January 21, 1966 in Covington, KY and died Saturday, January 4, 2025 in Georgetown, KY at the age of 58 years.

Eric was an equipment operator and truck driver for Southern States in Georgetown, KY, and a member of the New Columbus Baptist Church. He was very proud of his former dump truck business “Borchers Trucking”. He loved farming, fishing, nature, and antique tractors. Eric was a close and caring “Best Friend” to everyone he knew, but most proud of his family and sharing with them his knowledge of how to do things. Eric was known among his friends and neighbors to love a good trade.

Eric was united in marriage on May 14, 1988 to his wife Amanda Karnes Borchers. From this union are three children, his son, Mason Wayne Borchers of Jacksonville FL; his daughters, Sadie Elizabeth Borchers and her fiance Sam Whittaker of Mariemont, OH and Mollie Anne (husband, Justin) Wright of Lexington, KY; and a granddaughter, Collins Grace Wright. Also surviving are a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the New Columbus Baptist Church with burial to follow in the New Columbus Cemetery. Visitation will also be Saturday 11:00am-1:00pm at the church.
