Estel Ray Munson

Mr. Estel Ray Munson, formerly of Grant County, passed away at Baptist Health Lexington on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at the age of 92.  He was the son of the late Charles and Elva Milner Munson.

Estel was a retired factory worker for Proctor and Gamble and a veteran of the United States Army.  He served during the Korean War and earned a Purple Heart for his service.

Mr. Munson was proceeded in death by his wife, Georgia June Munson, son, Bruce Allen Munson and daughter Debra Sue Jackson.

Estel is survived by his son in law, Donald Jackson of St. Johns, FL, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 20, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Elliston Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral.   Burial will be in the Pythian Grove Cemetery, Berry, KY.
