Eugene Elliott

Mr. Eugene Elliott of Union, KY. passed away at the home of one of his sons near Falmouth, KY. on Friday, June 5 at the age of 78.  Mr. Elliott was born October 24, 1941 in Crittenden, KY. to the late Fred Elliott and Ada Tomlin Elliott.  Mr. Elliott was a retired vending technician for Service America.  He formerly served as fire chief for the Union Volunteer Fire Department and was a former member of the Country Cruisers Car Club where he enjoyed showing his 1969 Buick Skylark.  On May 18, 1963 Mr. Elliott married Connelene Ann Baker Elliott and Mrs. Elliott passed away January of 2018.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Mr. Elliott was preceded in death by a brother: Fred A. "Poncho" Elliott and he was preceded by sisters: Betty Jo Coomer and Shirley Engle.

Mr. Elliott is survived by a daughter: Shawna Hammel and her husband Jim of Union, KY., 3 sons: Jeffrey Elliott of Union, KY., Shane Elliott and his wife Brenda of Falmouth, KY., Aaron Elliott and his wife Joy of Falmouth, KY., 1 sister: Rita Rayburn and her husband Robert of Dry Ridge, KY.  Mr. Elliott has 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation and services will be at the convenience of the family.  If memorial contributions are desired they may be directed to the Hospice of Hope of Maysville, KY.  The Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home of Williamstown, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mr. Eugene Elliott.
