Evalene Merrill Davis

Evalene Merrill Davis of Williamstown, KY was born July 1, 1948 in Grant County, KY and died Friday, November 24, 2023 at her residence at the age of 75 years.

She was the daughter of the late Andrew Nicholas and Ona Margaret Perkins Merrill. She was retired as the Administrator and Deputy Judge Executive for Grant County, KY, a member of the Mason Baptist Church, and was a Kentucky Colonel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Kathy Nickell.

Surviving is one son, Stephen (Victoria) Davis of Williamstown; one daughter, Keisha (Erwin) Ackerman of Williamstown; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Andrew Merrill Jr. of Florence, Gary Merrill, Billy Merrill, and Elmer Merrill all of Dry Ridge; and three sisters, Joyce Denny of Williamstown, Lucille Lee of Crittenden, and Carolyn Nickell of Williamstown.

Funeral services will be at 11:00am Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown followed by burial in the Broadridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
