Everett Bruce Barker

Everett Bruce Barker was born Aug. 14, 1928 in Breathitt Co., Kentucky and passed away Feb. 17, 2021 in Williamstown, Kentucky at the age of 92.  He was the son of the late Jimmie Barker and Joanna Clemons Neal.

Everett was a farmer most of his life and worked as a custodian for Grant County Board of Education for 17 years. He was a member of Stonewall Church of God.  He loved collecting vinyl records and was a voracious reader.

On Dec. 31, 1952 Everett was united in marriage to Elizabeth Tufano Barker.  In addition to his wife of 68 years he is survived by 3 sons: Jimmy Barker of Crittenden, William Ray Barker (Michelle) of Verona and Timothy Wayne Barker (Karen) of Dry Ridge; 2 daughters: Anna Marie Harp of Dry Ridge and Melissa Miller of Williamstown; 12 grandchildren: Scotty, Paul, Sarah, Harlan, Brandon, Brian, Mariah, Justin, Colton, Ashley, Hannah and Jared; and 13 great grandchildren.

Everett was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jessica and a brother, London Barker.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Monday, Feb. 22, 2021 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown.  Funeral services will be private at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery.
