Everett "Gene" Wells

Everett Eugene "Gene" Wells of Walton, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019. He leaves behind his wife of almost 50 years, Martha Williams Wells; daughters: Deena Rassenfoss (Scott) of Burlington and Damia Tulloss (David) of Lambertville, NJ; 4 grandchildren: Nikolas Rassenfoss, Allyse Rassenfoss, Elias Tulloss and Levi Tulloss.  Also a sister: Dorothy Kohake of Edgewood; and a brother: Donald Wells of Williamstown.  In addition to numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews.

Everett was preceded in death by his parents, James Newton Wells and Ollie Holt Wells, and a brother, Clyde Wells.

Everett, better known as Gene, retired from General Electric in Evandale in 2002 after 36 years of service.  He was an avid golfer and played numerous courses around the states.  Gene was a huge UK Wildcat Basketball fan and enjoyed playing baseball, golfing, and fishing with his oldest grandson.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Grace Baptist Church, 10080 Demia Way, Florence, KY  41042.  Graveside services will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill.
