F. Eloise Arnett Acree

May 27, 1933 — October 5, 2018

Mrs. F. Eloise Arnett Acree passed away at her residence in Verona on Friday, October 5, 2018 at the age of 85. She was the widow of Bob Acree.

Eloise was born in Magoffin Co., KY on May 27, 1933 to the late Ceasar Arnett and Mattie Risner. On May 9, 1953 she was united in marriage to the late Bobby "Bob" Ray Acree. From this union was born two sons, Robin G. Acree (Robin) of Ft. Mitchell, the late Jeffrey Acree, and one daughter, Lee Anne Ryan (Brian Spinks and the late Todd Ryan) of Verona. Eloise is also survived by two sisters, Janet Lucas (David) and Phyliss Houston (Jimmy) both of Verona, seven grandchildren, Nicholas Ryan, Lacey Ryan, Roslyn Lapp, Misty Frilling, Rachel Auciello, Andrew Acree, Whitney Acree, and eleven great grandchildren. Mrs. Acree was also preceded in death by her great-grandson Ryan.

Mrs. Acree loved bird watching, shopping, travelling, cooking, working in her garden, but most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren. She dearly loved the time spent and help that her grandson Nick provided once Bob had passed.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 11am-2pm at the Walton Christian Church. Funeral will follow at 2pm with Pastor Kevin Russell officiating services. Eloise will be laid to rest next to her husband at the New Bethel Cemetery in Verona, KY following the funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Walton Christian Church, 47 S.
