Flossie Jane Disney of Burlington, Kentucky

February 27, 1938 - January 28, 2025

Flossie Jane Disney , 86, of Burlington, KY, entered her eternal home on Tuesday January 28, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Care Center – Edgewood. Born on February 27, 1938, in Whitley County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Allie Brown Hodge Roaden.

On February 4, 1956 she was united in marriage to Billy Ray Disney; he preceded her in death.  For many years she was employed by Johnson Control. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Verona, KY.

Survivors include one son: Billy Wayne Disney of Crittenden, KY; two daughters: Lisa (Danny) Webb of Verona, KY, Debra Moses of Burlington, KY and one sister: Marlene (Dale) Puckett of Carrollton, KY, along with five grandchildren: Phillip Allen, Daniel (Katelyn) Disney, Sarah (Donald) Newcomb, Darrin (Kelcie) Disney, Kayla (Matthew) Congleton and 11 great-grandchildren: Jacob Allen, Bryson Newcomb, Shelby Newcomb, Emma Newcomb, Emily Disney, Devin Disney, Dolin Disney, Delaney Disney, Deakin Disney, Hunter Allen and Greyson Allen.

She was preceded in death by 12 siblings:  Mae Dunham, Fae Martin, Amos Roaden, Lelan Roaden, Felan Roaden, Jane Disney, Charley Roaden, Shirley Coffey, Gary Roaden, Larry Roaden, Billy Roaden, and Junior Hodge.

Visitation will be Thursday January 30, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at Hamilton – Stanley Funeral Home in Verona. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 with Rev. Ronnie Tiller officiating.  Burial will follow in New Bethel Cemetery.
