Fred “Blaine” Taylor, 76, of Williamstown, KY, passed away Friday August 18, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Care Center in Edgewood, KY. Born on January 23, 1947 in Folsom, KY, he was the son of the late Fred and Ruth Louise Garvey Taylor. On June 3, 2000 he was united in marriage to the former Maggie “Sue” Steele; she preceded him in death on May 1, 2017. “Blaine”, as he was also known was a Long Distance (OTR) Truck Driver for the trucking firm he owned and operated, Fred B. Taylor Trucking and drove the tour bus for the Southern Aires Gospel Group. He was a 1964 graduate of Boone Co. High School; in 1965 he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and faithfully served his country for 20 years where he earned the rank of Master Sergeant. He received his Administrative Management Degree from the Community College of the United States Air Force. He was a faithful member of Corinth Baptist Church. Survivors include one son: Fred Nolan (Haley) Taylor of Lexington, KY; two daughters: Dawn Taylor of Junction City, KY, Cheryl Brogan of Eddyville, KY; one sister: Judy (Jay) Ellis of Crittenden, KY, two brothers: Ken (Fay) Taylor of Crittenden, KY, Jim (Melanie) Taylor of Dublin, GA, along with one grandson: Daniel Casey Anderson II of Junction City and a brother-n-law: Troy “Junior” Isaacs of New Liberty, KY. He was preceded in death by a sister: Sherry Isaacs. Visitation will be Thursday August 24, 2023 at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday August 25th at 10:30 a.m. at Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Denny French and Rev. Dennis Jackson officiating. . Burial will follow in Kentucky Veteran Cemetery – North (KVC-N) with an arrival time of 12 Noon.
