Fred Charles Mcmahan

Mr. Fred McMahan, a Williamstown resident, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY at the age of 65.

On May 31, 1958, Fred was born to the late Dan and Cora Jump McMahan.  He was a maintenance worker most of his life.  He loved to play the guitar, sing, go fishing, camping and spend time in the outdoors.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Fred is survived by four sons, Charles McMahan of Florence, KY, C.J. (Katie) Pickett of Williamstown, KY, Jonathon Pickett of Dry Ridge, KY, Adam McMahan of Glencoe, KY, three daughters, Kim (Dennis) Gosney of Florence, KY, Ashley (Michael) Underwood of New Haven, KY, Brittany McMahan of Dry Ridge, KY, two brothers, Danny (Dolly) McMahan of Independence, KY, Bobby (Betty) McMahan of Owenton, KY, three sisters, Betty (Doug) Petry of Glencoe, KY, Martha Elmore of Glencoe, KY, Carol (Keith) West of Sparta, KY and fourteen grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his brother Walter McMahan and grand daughter Anna Pickett.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Barn at Buck Ridge Farms, 4690 Jonesville Rd, Dry Ridge, KY.  Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home of Williamstown is handling the arrangements.
