Fred Lee Mulberry, a longtime resident of Williamstown, KY passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at his residence, just six days following his 92 nd birthday.  He was born June 11, 1928 at Scott County, KY, one of five children of the late Shelby Levi and Lillie Mae Jones Mulberry.

Following his education at Sadieville and Corinth, KY, Fred served his country faithfully as a member of the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.  For some fifteen years he was employed at Nu-Maid Margerine Co. and throughout his life he worked diligently as a cattle farmer.  He was never happier than when he had the opportunity to work in his hay fields.  He attended the Mason Baptist Church in Grant County.

On Dec. 29, 1950 Fred was united in matrimony with Eva Eliene Watkins, his devoted wife of nearly 70 years.  He is also survived by his son, Garry Lee Mulberry of Williamstown and daughter, Rhonda (Bruce) Wright of Corinth, five grandchildren, Shelby (Chad) Jones, Lori (Kyle) Beasmore, Joshua (Leslee) Mulberry, Rachel (Rev. Kyle) Sullivan, David Wright and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Rose Walker, and his three brothers, Randall, Glenn and Paul Mulberry.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 P.M. Sunday, June 21 at Elliston – Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown.  The funeral service will be held at 12:30 P.M. Tuesday , June 23 rd , also at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown with full military honors.
