Garrison Wright

William Garrison Wright, 47, of Corinth, KY, passed away Saturday October 9, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center - Florence after a month long battle with Covid.  Born March 20, 1974 in Covington, KY, he was the son of Cynthia Kaye Woodyard Wright Rudd and the late Garry Lucian Wright.

On July 27, 1993 Garrison was united in marriage to the former Shawna Lee Tuliano; she survives. He had a people-oriented personality; he loved meeting old friends and making new ones. Working on the farm was his passion; working his mules, running his hound dogs, riding horses, coon hunting, fishing and hunting were just some of his great adventures. He was also a general contractor and was a real estate agent with Carr Reality and Auction. He was a member of New Columbus Baptist Church.

He leaves to mourn his passing and celebrate his legacy, his wife, Shawna Wright; his mother: Kaye Rudd; one son: William Benjamin (Hannah); three daughters: Lorena Nicole (Talmon) Schidecker, Kara Faye Lee (Noah) Gregory, Bailey Maria Wright (Austin) and one brother: Chad Preston (Tara) Wright, all of Corinth. Nine grandchildren, all of whom lovingly called him “Papaw” also survive: Aida, Oscar, Benson, Taylor, Braydon, Maddie, Mason, Kaylee and Baby Wright.  In addition to his father who passed on May 8, 1990, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Kirby and Joycie Wright; his maternal grandparents: Kenneth and Hazel Woodyard and his step-father: Charlie Rudd.

Visitation will be held Thursday October 14, 2021 at New Columbus Baptist Church from 10:00 a.am till 2:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be at 2p.m. with Rev. Brad Vincent officiating.  Burial will be on his farm, located at 2530 Pleasant Grove Road, Corinth, KY  41010.

Serving as pallbearers are: Benjamin Wright, Chad Wright, Austin Wright, Talmon Schidecker, Curtis Warren, Jr., Alford Switzer, Jeff Hunter and Jason Dunaway.
