Gary "Steven" Wolford

Gary “Steven” Wolford, 47, of Corinth, KY, entered his heavenly home on Wednesday April 9, 2025 at his residence. Born on December 20, 1977, in South Williamson, KY, he was the son of Gary Lee Wolford and the late Brenda Kaye Simpkins Wolford.

On May 12, 1998 he was united in marriage to the former Jennifer Rose Mitchem; she survives. Before he became disabled he worked for Dana Corporation. He loved collecting match box cars, watches and baseball caps. While he did not have a current church membership, he was a believer and knew the Lord.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, Jennifer Wolford, include his father: Gary Lee Wolford and his wife, Christine; three sons: Gary “Austin” Wolford of Covington, KY, Anthony James Wolford of Dry Ridge, KY, Oscar Roberts of Florence, KY; one daughter: Easlynn Kaye Wolford of Georgetown, KY; one brother: James Douglas Cassell of Union, KY and two sisters: Loretha Gail Wolford of Florence, KY and Leeanna Renee Childers of Union, KY. Numerous nieces and nephews and a “bunch” of cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his mother: Brenda Kaye Wolford; his son: Danny Joe Wolford;  his paternal grandparents: Layton and Nicie Taylor Wolford; his maternal grandparents: Bill and Margie Simpkins and a nephew: Chandler Douglas Cassell.

A Celebration of Life for Steven will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. His cremains will be laid to rest in the Wolford Family Cemetery in Phelps, KY.
