Garylin Ross Stone

Garylin Ross "Stoney" Stone was born Jan. 28, 1949 in Falmouth, Kentucky and passed away May 20, 2020 in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky at the age of 71.  He was the son of Violet Buckler Stone of Berry, Kentucky and the late Harold Ross Stone.

Stoney was a School Bus Driver for Grant Schools and a retired engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad.  He was also a licensed minister of the gospel serving in various churches throughout Grant County.  He was also a member of the NEA Union.  Stoney also loved camping.

On November 5, 1977 Stoney was united in marriage to Glenda Reed Stone.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by David Christopher Stone of Glencoe and Robert Anthony Mitchell of Corinth; a daughter: Katherine Nicole Barker of Mt. Orab, OH; a sister: Deanna Joy Stone of Berry; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown.  Funeral services will be Private, Thursday, May 28, 2020.  Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions and the new reopening requirements we will be limiting our building occupancy to 33% of normal capacity, so please be prepared for a possible line as we will be monitoring the occupancy.  We will also be strictly adhering to the 6 feet social distancing requirements.  We will be requiring attendees to wear a face covering to attend visitations and services.
