Gene Gilbert Rowland

On June 30, 1929, Gene Rowland was born in Williamstown, KY to the late Gilbert Rowland and Nancy Wigginton Rowland. Gene received his bachelor's degree in Business from Eastern KY University and married the love of his life, Patricia Ellen Duce in 1953. From this union, they are survived by one son, Stephen Rowland of Dry Ridge, KY, three daughters, Janine (Greg) Heath of Santa Rosa, CA, Joanna (Ray) Harcourt of Florence, KY, Julie Rowland of Jersey City, NJ, five grandchildren and two great-grand children. Gene is proceeded in death by one son, Michael Rowland.
Mr. Rowland was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a member of the St. William's Catholic Church, and was a salesman most of his life, for Firestone and Michael Tire Co.
Visitation will be Friday, September 28, 2018 from 10am-11:30am at the St. William's Catholic Church, 6 Church Dr., Williamstown, KY 41097. Funeral mass will follow at 11:30am at the church. Burial will be in the KY Veteran's Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY. Memorials are suggested to the St. William's Catholic Church Building Fund.
