Geneva Davis

Mrs. Geneva Kerby Davis of Williamstown, KY. passed away Tuesday, June 4 at the Grant Center Nursing Home in Williamstown, KY. at the age of 94.  Mrs. Davis was born November 2, 1924 in Jokers, West Virginia to the late James Kerby and Ruby Carpenter Kerby.  Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a member of the Williamstown Baptist Church.  Mrs. Davis worked hard all throughout her life raising her family and many times in years past working in the fields with her husband.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband: Jesse Edward Davis in 1991.  She was preceded in death by a daughter: Margaret Carol Webster on Sept. 21, 2012, by sons: Stephen Edward Davis on Feb. 12, 2019 and many years ago by sons: James Donald Davis and Larry Alvin Davis.

Mrs. Davis is survived by 3 sons: Marvin Davis and his wife Beverly of Demossville, KY., Kenny Davis and Michael Davis both of Williamstown, KY., a sister: Elladean Dougherty of Fayette, MO., 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 6 great, great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Geneva Kerby Davis will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, June 9 in the chapel of the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main Street, Williamstown, KY. 41097 with Rev. Jay Holt officiating.  Visitation will also be on Sunday from 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm.  Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery.  Memorial contributions if desired may be directed to the charity of one's choice.
