Geneva Covey Whaley

Geneva Willetta Covey Whaley was born December 10, 1943 in Dry Ridge, Kentucky and passed away July 13, 2023 in Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of 79.  She was the daughter of the late Earl and Ramona Mae Conrad Covey.

On Nov. 3, 1987 Geneva was united in marriage to Danny R. Whaley who preceded her in death on Aug. 25, 2018.  She is survived by a son, Kent Webster, of Dry Ridge; a daughter, Sharon (Lundy) Fox, of Lawrenceburg, IN; 7 grandchildren: Michelle Harper, Christopher Fox, Amanda King, Katelyn Fox, Kelly Owings, Cory Webster and McKenna Webster; and 9 great grandchildren: JJ, Jordyn, Millie, Maisie, Addison, Ashlyn, Charlotte, Noralyn Margaret and Raiden Cayde.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Webster, in 1997; a brother: Henry; and 7 sisters: Joyce, Brenda, Clara Lee, Margaret, Ruth, Belvia and Elsie.

Geneva was a beautician and later she stayed home as a homemaker.  She was baptized and became a member of Dry Ridge Baptist Church in 1966.  She always enjoyed spending time with her family.  She also loved and adored her dogs and was even a breeder for much of her life.

Visitation will be 1:00 - 3:00 PM, Tuesday, July 18th followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00 PM at Elliston Stanley Funeral Home.  Geneva will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Williamstown Cemetery.
