George Eugene Eldridge

George Eugene Eldridge was born October 5, 1961 in Somerset, Kentucky and passed away February 10, 2023 at his residence in Williamstown,  Kentucky at the age of 61.  He was the son of Barbara Jean Padgett Eldridge of Dry Ridge and the late George W.C. Eldridge.

George was a foreman for Riegler Blacktop with over 35 + years of dedicated services.  He was also a member of the Vine Run Baptist Church in Dry Ridge.  George enjoyed spending time hunting as well as watching the Cincinnati Bengals and the UK Wildcats.  In addition he loved watching NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt and that famous #3.

While he thoroughly enjoyed watching his favorite sports, his greatest enjoyment came from watching his grandkids playing tee-ball, soccer and cheerleading.  He will always be remembered for how much he loved his family and the time he spent with them.

In addition to his mom, Eugene is survived by two daughters: Mallory (Scott) Sprankel of Williamstown and Taylor Eldridge of Lexington; a brother: Bryan (Amanda) Eldridge of Crittenden; 2 sisters: Debbie (Lonnie) Roy of Dry Ridge and Judy (Nicky) Eldridge Huff of Dry Ridge; and three grandchildren: Addyson Cleveland, Makenna Sprankel and Lincoln Sprankel.  He was proceeded in death by a brother Vernon Eldridge.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, February 17, 2023 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown.  Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 16, 2023 at the Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the New Vine Run Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
