Gerald "Jerry" Collins

Gerald “Jerry” Collins of Cincinnati, OH was born January 26, 1927 in Flat Creek, KY and died Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at his residence at the age of 91.

Gerald was the son of the late Lee Smith Collins and Mary Alberta Blackburn Collins. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired electrician for the City of Cincinnati at the Lunken Airport, and a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 son, Larry Collins. On February 24, 1966 he was united in marriage to his wife, Elaine Collins.

Surviving is his wife Elaine; 3 daughters, Shonda Hahn, and Vickie Richardson both of Cincinnati, and Debra Collins of Indiana; and several grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon, Friday, September 7, 2018 at the Pleasant View Baptist Church, Dry Ridge, KY. Visitation will be 10:00am-12:00 noon Friday at the church.
