Gerald "Jerry" Ray Evans

Gerald “Jerry” Evans of Williamstown, KY was born on Tuesday, July 11, 1944 in Williamstown, KY and died Friday, July 5, 2024 at his residence at the age of 79 years.

He was the son of the late Boyd and Pauline Cook Evans, he was a retired truck driver for Beiersdorfer Trucking Company, and was a member of the local Teamsters union. On January 28, 1972 he was united in marriage to his wife, Karen Lee Loechel Evans. Jerry enjoyed wildlife, whether it was feeding the birds, hunting, or fishing, as well as sports and the local teams; the Reds, the Bengals, or UK.

Surviving is his wife, Karen Evans of Williamstown; 2 daughters, Tracie (Steve) Ponder of Union and Teena (Scott) Spivey of Edgewood; 9 grandchildren; 9 great- grandchildren; and brother, Danny Evans of Owenton.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY followed by burial in the Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation will also be Tuesday 11:00am-1:00pm at the funeral home.
