Geraldine Marksberry

Geraldine Marksberry, 86 , of Dry Ridge, KY passed away Thursday June 30, 2022 at her residence. Born Monday October 21, 1935 in Glencoe, KY, she was the daughter of the late Jimmy Larry and Jewell Wainscott Burgess.

On January 3, 1955 she was united in marriage to Raymond Earl Marksberry; he preceded her in death on April 18, 1993. She was a faithful housewife and homemaker; she was a graduate of Mason High School and a member of Grant Co. Homemakers.  She loved playing Rook, enjoyed the outdoors, going to the boat and going to yard sales; she was affectionately known as the “Yard Sale Queen”. She was a member of Stewartsville Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing, one daughter: Deborah Rae Willoughby of Jonesville; two sons: Ray Allen Marksberry of Corinth, Barry Wayne (Tina) Marksberry of Dry Ridge along with four grandchildren: Scott Willoughby, Dalton Marksberry, Taylor Marksberry, Lauren Marksberry and one great-grandson: Hayes Marksberry.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Burgess and a sister, Kathryn Evans.

Visitation will be Thursday July 7, 2022 at Stanley Funeral Homes in Williamstown from 12 noon till 2 p.m. Graveside services will be follow at Williamstown Cemetery.
