Gleetta Beach Edmondson

December 10, 1933 — February 6, 2021

Mrs. Gleetta Beach Edmondson, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away peacefully at her home in Dry Ridge, KY on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the age of 87.  She was the widow of Charles M. Edmondson.

On December 10, 1933, Gleetta was born in Dry Ridge, KY to the late Orville and Claris Ferrell Beach.    She then married the love of her life, Charles M. Edmondson.  The two of them loved to travel and spend time together.  Gleetta was a former office manager and co-owner of Telestar mobile home park.  She was a homemaker most of her life.  She loved to work in her vegetable and flower gardens, attend flea markets, play cards, go to the beach and travel the world.  Most of all, she loved to spend time with her granddaughter.

Gleetta is survived by one son, Dennis (Amy) Edmondson of Dry Ridge, KY and one granddaughter, Shannon Edmondson of Dry Ridge, KY.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 10am-12noon at the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge, KY.  Funeral services will be at 12 noon.  Rev. David Foley will be officiating services.  Burial will follow in the New Vine Run Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY.  Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601, or the New Vine Run Cemetery, Grant Co. Relay for Life, or the Grant Co. Animal Shelter.
