Hamblin Bowling

Hamblin Bowling, 92 , of Berry, KY passed away Wednesday May 25, 2022 at Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation in Maysville, KY. Born Monday December 23, 1929 in Panco (Clay County), KY, he was the son of the late Pallis and Ophia Napier Bowling.

In 1949, Hamblin was united in marriage to the former Velma Wilson; she preceded him in death on January 1, 1999. He was a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for Continental Can Corporation. He was a Kentucky Colonel and at the time of his passing he was the oldest living member of Masonic Lodge #736 in Oneida, KY, which was organized in 1951.  Hunting and fishing were among the activities he enjoyed as pastimes.  He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

He leaves to carry on his legacy, three stepsons: Dorsey Ray (Sharon) Daniel of Corinth, KY, Gary (Karen) Daniel of Berry, KY; Ron Daniel;  two step-daughters: Jean Reid of Sunbury, OH and Bess Biason of Ojai, CA.  Fourteen grandchildren also survive: Holly Ward, Michael Daniel, Heather Phillips, Hunter Kelley, John Daniel, David Daniel, Joe Daniel Paul Daniel, Ryan Trumbo, Jared Trumbo, Elisa Biason, Chad Trumbo, Jeff Fugate and Chris Biason and two nephews: John Bowling and Ralph Bowling.  He was preceded in death by brothers: McKinley Bowling, Jim Bowling, Homer McKinley; a sister: Mary Campbell; a nephew: Randy Bowling; a stepdaughter: Belinda Trumbo and a grandson: Stevie Fugate.

Burial of cremated remains will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday June 4, 2022 at Butler Co. Memorial Park in Hamilton, OH.
