Harold Donald Altizer

Harold Donald Altizer of Williamstown, KY was born Thursday, June 28, 1934 in Jewell Ridge, VA and died Monday, November 4, 2019 at his residence at the age of 85.

He was the son of the late Carl Donald and Mary Jane Wilson Altizer, he was a retired Precision Welder and Welding Instructor for Amtrak, and a U.S. Airforce Veteran of the Korean Conflict. On April 18, 1959 he was united in marriage to Ella Frances Taylor Altizer who preceded him in death on May 6, 2010. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Surviving is 1 son, Gary Cook of San Angello, TX, 3 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00am Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown followed by burial in the Owenton I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
