Ida Mae Judy

Ida Mae Mullins Judy, age 93, of Crittenden, KY, passed away Saturday September 3, 2022 at her residence.  Born Wednesday January 2, 1929 in Grant County, KY, she was the daughter of the late George and Emma Fee Mullins.

On August 13, 1966, she was united in marriage to Jerome Judy; he preceded her in death in 1986.  She was a graduate of Cumberland College and Eastern KY University.  She was a retired school teacher, having taught school at Kenton Elementary in Kenton Co. for over 30 years.  She was a longtime member of Crittenden Baptist Church. Many of her interests included reading books, writing, genealogy, sewing, quilting and studying her Bible.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister: Emma Lou Mullins; 5 brothers: Robert Mullins, Lloyd Mullins, George Mullins, John Mullins and Benjamin Mullins.  She was the last surviving sibling of the family of seven.  She is survived by a sister-n-law: Erma (late John) Landrum Mullins of Morningview, KY; seven nieces: Patti (Artie) Anderson, Pamela (Brian) Mullins-Kleeman, Paula (Steve) Kramer, all of Independence, KY, Barbara (late Skip) Hatfield of Mt. Washington, KY, Jill (Darrell) Herndon of Mt. Washington, KY, Mindy King of Bethel, OH, Melissa (Will) Langford of Chesapeake, VA; three nephews: Michael (Ann) Mullins of Frankfort, KY, David (Bonnie) Mullins and Roger Mullins of Sherman, KY, along with many great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday September 8, 2022 from 11:00 – 1:00 at Crittenden Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 with Rev. Bill Page officiating.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Crittenden Cemetery.
