Jack Farrell Ravenscraft , 87, of Florence, KY, formerly of Grant County, KY, passed away on Sunday December 15, 2024 at Villa Spring Nursing and Rehab in Erlanger, KY. Born on October 16, 1937, in Grant County, KY, he was the son of the late James Lee and Ethel Mae Sargent Ravenscraft.
August 14, 1956 started a union that lasted 68 years as Jack was united in marriage to the former Bonnie Ruth Lee; she survives. He was a 1956 graduate of Grant County High School. Afterwards, Jack received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management from NKU; incidentally, he was in the first graduating class of NKU. Being a hard worker and giving it his best will be the legacy Jack will best be remembered for. Many times he worked more than one job at a time because of his commitment to his strong work ethics. He retired as an officer with the Administrative Office of the Courts for the State of KY and was awarded the honor of Kentucky Colonel by the then Governor Bert T. Combs.
In addition to his wife, Bonnie Ruth Ravenscraft; one son: Paul Lee (Jenna) Ravenscraft of Cincinnati, OH; two daughters: Leslie Carol (Gary) Feld of Hebron, KY, Lisa Anne (Charles Chipman) Ravenscraft of Burlington, KY, along with five grandchildren: Nathan Feld, Brittany Anderson, Craig Ravenscraft, Gwyneth Ravenscraft, Emily Ravenscraft and six great-grandchildren: Brianna Ravenscraft, Logan Ravenscraft, Madelyn Ravenscraft, Henry Anderson, Audrey Anderson and Avalon Ravenscraft. He was preceded in death by his two brothers: S. Dale Ravenscraft and Howard Lee Ravenscraft.
Family and close friends may gather Friday December 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes -Williamstown for visitation. Afterwards we will proceed to Williamstown Cemetery for interment.
