Jack Shane Walls

Shane Walls, an Owenton resident, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at his residence at the age of 49.

Shane was born on August 20, 1973 to the late Jack C. Walls and Lynda Conley Walls.  He was a service technician at TLE of Wal-Mart in Dry Ridge, KY for several years.  He was a former employee of G&G Towing, he loved the outdoors, collecting firearms, keeping his lawn mowed and maintained, UK Basketball and doing mechanic work.  Shane was known for his big heart, funny sense of humor and he loved his family dearly.

Shane is survived by his girlfriend Doris Tomlin, siblings, Raegan (Alan) Barber, Marty (Mary) Courtney, Tracy Courtney, Gary Barber, nephew Andrew Nickell, and nieces, Makayla and Kaileigh Barber.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Jackie and Lynda Walls, and his favorite pet dogs, Milo and Mollie.

A Celebration of Life Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 10-11am at the Eckler - McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge, KY.  Memorial services will be at 11am with Rev. Milkweed Wotier officiating.  Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association.
