Jackie Thompson

Jackie Thompson, born Monday, April 5th, 1948 in Covington, Kentucky- passed Monday, March 14th, 2022 at Mercy-Anderson Hospital of Cincinnati, OH at the age of 73. Jackie is survived by his five children, three sons and two daughters; Michael Thompson of New York, Timothy Caldwell (Amanda) of De Mossville, KY, Tyelor Caldwell (Sherri) of De Mossville, KY, Amanda Thompson of Florence, KY, and Melissa Lee Seiter of Florence, KY. He leaves behind a legacy of twenty grandchildren. Jackie was a high school graduate who worked in steel manufacturing for much of his life. Prior to steel work, he proudly served his country as a Marine during the Vietnam War. When he wasn't watching UK Basketball and Cincinnati Bengals Football, Jackie loved telling war stories of his time in the service. Funeral services for Jackie will be held Monday, March 28th, 2022. Visitation will be held at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown from 10-10:30a.m. A funeral and committal service for burial will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-North at 11am following the visitation.
