James Emerson Harvey

James Emerson Harvey was a Crittenden resident and passed away at home on Monday, May 4, 2020 at the age of 71.  He was the husband of Debra K. Harvey.

James was born to the late Charles Harvey and Dimple Rose Bartlett on January 30, 1949.  He was married to Debra Katherine Harvey on August 14, 1972.  In addition to his wife Debra, he is survived by one son, Kyler Harvey of Crittenden, KY, two daughters, Heather (Duane) Harvey-Tackett of Independence, KY, Michelle Harvey of Independence, KY, one brother, Michael Harvey and four grandchildren, Madelyn Gibson, Shane Mayer, Ronald Tackett and Ellee Harvey.  He is preceded in death by one sister, Connie Bryant and his favorite pet dog, Bella.

Mr. Harvey was an Army Vietnam Veteran.  He was an American Legion member and DAV member.  He loved woodworking, coaching soccer, watching archery competitions, nascar, UFC, boxing and traveling.  He is described as a loving, caring family man whom loved to take road trips with his family.

Graveside services with military honors will take place in a couple weeks at the KY Veteran's Cemetery, North, in Williamstown, KY.  Date and times will be listed here once scheduled.
