James “Jimmy” Leslie Fryman was born September 14, 1939 in Mt. Pisgah, OH and died September 24, 2018 at St. Elizabeth, Edgewood at the age of 79. He was the son of the late Russell E. Fryman, Sr and Louise Hillard Fryman.
Jimmy is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carolyn Sue Miller Fryman, 7 children, Tina McCandless of Williamstown, Rex (Greta) Fryman of Green Cove Springs, FL, Daren Fryman of Dry Ridge, Tonya (David) Beagle of Crittenden, Jamey (Crystal) Fryman of Williamstown, Tara Wallace of Dry Ridge, Taneka Moore of Walton, 6 sisters, Margie Humphries of Amelia, OH, Ann (Bruce) McKenney of Dry Ridge, Janie Ingram of Mt. Sterling, Dina Dunaway of Mt. Sterling, Nina (George) Reece of Deputy, IN, Dorie (George) Bailey of Madison, IN, sister inlaw, Theola Fryman of Union, a brother inlaw, Sanford Kinman of Williamstown, 18 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
Jimmy was a member of the Sherman Baptist Church and was the owner of Fryman’s Home Center for 52 years. He served as a song leader and RA Leader in church, was a softball coach, he loved fishing but most of all he loved his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Russell Fryman, Jr. and Oris David Fryman, and two sisters, Ada Nester and Marie Kinman.
Funeral Services for Mr. Fryman will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 at the Elliston Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, with burial to follow at the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge. Visitation will be 4 PM to 9 PM, Friday, Sept. 28, 2018 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sherman Baptist Church or Gideons International.
