James Prentice “J. P.” Webster, 20, of Carrollton, KY, gained his wings and entered into his eternal rest on Tuesday February 28, 2023 at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Born on Wednesday June 12, 2002 in Covington, KY, he was the son of Charlie Cecil and Mary Elizabeth Beatty Webster of Carrollton.
“J.P.” as he was affectionately known, loved building blocks and playing Hide and Go Seek with his sisters; he had a special appreciation for all music but had a special fondness for all Johnny Cash songs. He was a member of Faith Community Church of Carrollton.
He leaves to carry on his love, his parents: Charlie Cecil and Mary Elizabeth Beatty Webster; three sisters: Linda Webster, Barbara (Noah) Webster, Amiee Downey, all of Carrollton, nieces, nephews and cousins: Justin Downey, Annabelle Downey, Alena Craig, Aiden Craig, Kaylee Smith, Austin Smith, Jr., C.J. Kelly, Dawndra McCormick and Joshua Gutman; uncles: Vester (Hope) Prather, Prentice Beatty, Jackie (Ida) Beatty, Jason Beatty; two aunts: Melissa Beatty and Dottie Webster, along with special friends: Deidra (C.J.) Kemp, Dominique Craig and Nora Kemp. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: George and Mary Dello, his maternal grandparents: Gomer & Linda Beatty and a half-sister: Ashley Webster.
Visitation will be Monday March 6, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 with Revs. Randy Doll and D. Milkweed Wotier officiating. Burial will follow at Ghent Masonic Cemetery in Ghent, KY.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Linda Webster, Noah Singer, Jason Beatty, Prentice Beatty, George Dello, Josh Gutman, Barbara Webster, Melissa Beatty and Deidra Craig.
Memorial contributions may be made in J.P’s memory toward the expenses of the funeral.
