James Cecil Peck

James Cecil Peck was born Dec. 4, 1949 in Liberty, Kentucky and passed away May 11, 2022 at his residence in Williamstown, Kentucky at the age of 72.  He was the son of the late Cecil Howard and Etta Morgan Peck.

On Aug. 16, 1969 Jim was united in marriage to Judith Ann "Judy" Truster Peck.  In addition to his wife of 52 years, he is survived by his son: Jeffrey Peck (Peggy) of Williamstown; three brothers: Donald Ray Peck (Chris) of California, Stephen Peck of Williamstown and Gary Peck (Ruby) of Ohio; a sister: Louise Borges of California; and two grandchildren: Kyle and Ashley Peck of Williamstown.

Jim was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Ballinger.

He was a member of Mt. Olivet Christian Church in Williamstown and a former member of the Grant County Rook League.  Jim was a retired pipe fitter for Bay West Paper Manufacturing and he was a former owner of a check cashing store in Middletown, OH.  When he wasn't working, he enjoyed spending much of his time outdoors, whether he was fishing or cattle and donkey farming.  He also loved travelling with his wife, especially visiting beaches in North Carolina.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, May 16, 2022 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday, at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Wiliamstown Cemetery.
