James Edward Robbins, Sr.

April 28, 1940 — February 12, 2021

James Edward Robbins, Sr. was born April 28, 1940 in Huntsville, Tennessee and passed away February 12, 2021 in Dry Ridge, Kentucky at the age of 80.  He was the son of the late Morris and Grace Daniels Robbins.

James was owner/operator of Robbins Flag Car Service.  He loved fishing, mechanic work, and was known as a hard worker.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara A. Robbins, on Feb. 16, 2013; 2 sons: James Robbins, Jr. in 2010 and Kevin Robbins in 2016; a brother George Robbins; and a sister: Ina.

James is survived by a son: George Henry Robbins of Dry Ridge; a daughter: Rhonda Sue Cain of Dry Ridge; 3 sisters: Shirley Muranhan of Highland Heights, Charlotte Robbins of Highland Heights and Thelma Farris of Independence; 19 grandchildren; and 26 Great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, Feb. 22, 2021 at Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the New Vine Run Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
