James Randall Smith

James Randall Smith was born October 14, 1951 in Springfield, KY and passed away September 15, 2021 in Williamstown, KY at the age of 69.  He was the son of the late Joseph and Beulah Carrico Smith.

Randall was a member of the Sherman Baptist Church and was a landscaper for Florence Nursery.  In his free time he loved watching Reds Baseball and western movies.

On May 24, 1997, he was united in marriage to Phyllis Joan Saylor.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sisters:  Patsy (Jerry) Poff of Harrodsburg, KY and Charlotte (Larry) Thomas of Loretta, KY and four brothers:  Bennie Smith of Florence, KY, Rueben (Beverly) Smith of Bardstown, KY, Bob (Ardella) Smith of Springfield, KY, and Kenny Smith of Florence, KY.

James was preceeded in death by three brothers Mike Smith, Freddie Smith, and Doug Smith.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 20, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Elliston Stanley Funeral Home in Crittenden, KY.  Visitation will be 12:00 PM -3:00PM at the funeral home.
