James Franklin Webster

Mr. James Franklin Webster of Verona, KY. and more recently of Vevay, IN. passed away Friday, May 14 at the home of his daughter in Vevay, IN. at the age of 82.  Bud, as he was known to family and friends, was born February 19, 1939 in Kenton County, KY. to the late Ezra Nelson Webster and Nellie Mae Maxwell Webster.  Bud was retired from Ford Motor Company where he worked for many years in the Sharonville, OH. transmission plant.  Years ago he had attended the Walton Christian Church and was a member of the Beagle Club in Crittenden, KY.  Bud had a passion for dogs and hunting, and he especially enjoyed deer hunting.  Bud also enjoyed trap shooting and anything that had to do with hunting dogs.  In his youth he was an avid basketball player.

In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his wife: Joyce L Webster, by a sister: Clara Wingate and by a stepsister: Evelyn Dyer.

Bud is survived by   a son: Randall Webster of Verona, KY., 2 daughters: Karen Treadway of Erlanger, KY., Terry Webster of Vevay, IN., a brother: Nelson Webster and his wife Joyce of Walton, KY., sisters: Peggy Tinch of Gallatin County, KY., Wanda Perry of Gallatin County, KY., Sally Goelar of Independence, KY.,  8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. James Franklin "Bud" Webster will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday, May 20 in the chapel of the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Road, Verona, KY. 41092 with Pastor Chad Brannan officiating.  Visitation will also be there on Thursday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.  Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, KY.
