Janet Ruth Burroughs

Janet Ruth Burroughs, 93, Lexington, Kentucky passed away peacefully at Frankfort Regional Medical Center, Hospice Care Center on Monday, January 3, 2022. She was preceded in death by her father, Odis Ora Crabtree and mother, Velma Vivian Robinson.

Janet was born June 20, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio and was a member of Sand Spring Baptist Church, Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.  She was a loving mother to three daughters; Linda (Ernest) Clemons, Brenda (David) Lloyd and Ruth Ann Osborne, five grandchildren; Ashely Mosharrafa, Elizabeth Stout, Adrienne Hearl, Patrick Lloyd and Phillip Lloyd, and 10 great grandchildren.  She loved life and spending time with her family and friends and riding through the countryside.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Hill Crest Cemetery, Dixie Highway, Dry Ridge, KY  41035.  Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown has been entrusted with the arrangements.  Memorials are suggested to the Bluegrass Care Navigators Hospice, Frankfort, KY.
