Janet L. Sebree

Janet Lucille Sebree, a loving mother, mamaw, gigi, and friend, passed away on July 22, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on August 28, 1947, in Grant County, KY.

She was the daughter of the late James Prentice and Audrey Lucille Thornton Gordon. She was a homemaker, devoted caregiver and former nurses aide for St Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood. As a devoted Christian, she was a member of the Community Family Church, Taylor Mill, KY.

She is survived by her 4 children, James G. Sebree, Danita Sebree Pickett (Rodney), Jerry J. Sebree (Sarah) and Sean G. Sebree (Janice). She had 9 grandchildren, Danielle Bolton, Kyle Sebree, Lauren Miracle (Chris), Ryan Sebree, Dane Coy (Kara), Brenden Sebree (Ashley), Nick Sebree, Brenna Sebree and Tessa Sebree; 8 great grandchildren (Emily, Landon, Liam, Brody, Brock, Isla, Taylor & Ryan); and one great great grandchild (Lilly) whom she adored dearly.

Janet enjoyed gardening, crafting, cooking and had a love for animals; especially her dogs. Janet will be deeply missed for her kind heart, generous spirit, and devotion to her family.

A “Celebration of Life” service will take place at 1:00pm Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home Williamstown, KY. Visitation will also be Saturday 11:00am-1:00pm at the funeral home.
