Janice Lee Becker

April 29, 1947 — August 9, 2019

Mrs. Janice Lee George Becker, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Grant Co., on August 9, 2019 at the age of 72.  She was the wife of Wm. "Bud" Becker.

Mrs. Becker was a proud homemaker for most of her life.  She was a former Employee of the Log Cabin Restaurant in Crittenden, former member of the American Lutheran Church in Iowa and a former volunteer for Cedar Grove Elementary School in Shepherdsville, KY.  She loved reading novels, gaming, movies and loved her children and grandchildren dearly.

In addition to her husband Bud, Janice is survived by one son, Troy E. Becker of Chicago, IL, one daughter, Teri Kirchner (Raymond) of Hebron, KY, one brother, Leonard Thill of Waterloo, IA, four sisters, Mary Weber and Judy Sommerfelt, both of Waterloo, IA, Janelle Herrmann of Cedar Falls, IA, Delores Beck of LaCrosse, WI and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 11am-1pm with funeral services to follow at 1pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Burial will be at the KY Veteran's Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY.
