Janice Laverne Bowen

Janice Laverne Menefee Bowen of Glencoe, KY was born May 12, 1940 in Morningview, KY and died Staurday, December 10, 2022 in Ft. Thomas, KY at the age of 82.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Aileene Sydnor Menefee. She was a Nurses Aid with the Dry Ridge Personal Care Home and member of the Knoxville Baptist Church.

Surviving is 1 son, Stephen (Teresa) Bowen of Glencoe; 5 daughters, Darlene Skinner of Glencoe, Nancy (James) Edmondson of Glencoe, Linda (Robert) Elliott of Williamstown, Sharon (William) Shanks of Dry Ridge, and Mary (Wes) Nash of Crittenden; 1 sister, Barb (Lester) Edwards of Williamstown; 9 grandchildren, Michelle Bowen, Chris Root, Katie Herndon, Gary Skinner, Susan Skinner, Billy Skinner, Robbie Nash, John Nash, and Austin Nash; 14 great- grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; and 8 half brothers and sisters, Joe Menefee, Steve Menefee, Marshall Menefee, Randy Menefee, Connie Menefee, Nancy Menefee, Cindy Menefee, and Cora Menefee.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Thursday, December 15, 2022 at the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge followed by burial in the Hill Crest Cemetery. Visitation will also be Thursday 11:00am-1:00pm at the funeral home.
